Matches Announced For This Show (Keep checking back for more updates)

Three Stages of Hell Match for the WWE Championship: Champion John Cena vs. Ryback
Rules of the match: This is a best-of-3 falls match. The first fall is a lumberjack match. During that stage of the match, the ring will be surrounded by wrestlers who must toss either man that leaves the ring back into it. The second fall is a Tables Match. In that type of match, a wrestler wins the bout by making their opponent crash through a table. The final fall, if necessary, will be an Ambulance Match. If the bout reaches this fall, an ambulance will be parked at the top of the ramp. The only way to win this segment of this match is to put your opponent inside of the ambulance and then close the doors.
Events leading to this match: The Last Man Standing Match between these two men at Extreme Rules ended in a no contest when neither man could stand up before the referee counted to ten. Following the match, Cena was taken out on a stretcher but before he could be taken out of the arena in an ambulance, Cena got off the stretcher and left the arena under his own power. The following night, Ryback challenged Cena to an Ambulance Match. Seven nights later, the other two stipulations for this match were announced.

World Heavyweight Championship: Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Alberto Del Rio
Events leading to this match: The champion has been out of action for over a month due to a concussion. During his absence, Alberto Del Rio earned the right to this title shot by beating Jack Swagger at Extreme Rules. The feud between Dolph and Alberto began the night after WrestleMania XXIX when Dolph successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot to win the championship from an injured Alberto Del Rio.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho
Events leading to this match: Shortly after losing to Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIX, Punk announced that he was taking some time off. When his manager, Paul Heyman appeared on Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel, Jericho said that Punk could no longer call himself the “best in the world” if he went home and refused to fight anymore. Heyman accepted Jericho’s challenge for this match during that segment.

Intercontinental Championship: Champion Wade Barrett vs. The Miz vs. Curtis Axel
Events leading to this match: The rivalry between The Miz and Wade Barrett dates back several months and has seen the champion both lose and regain the title from The Miz. This became a three-way feud with Fandango who was originally scheduled to compete in this match. Unfortunately for Fandango, he suffered a legitimate concussion and has not been medically cleared to compete at this event. His spot has been taken by Curtis Axel.

Divas Championship: Champion Kaitlyn vs. AJ Lee
Events leading to this match: AJ and Kaitlyn are former BFF’s whose friendship went sour when AJ started dating Dolph Ziggler. AJ recently humiliated her friend by making her believe she had a secret admirer who turned out to Big E Langston, the bodyguard for Dolph and AJ. The challenger earned her title shot by winning a Battle Royal during in April.

United States Championship: Champion Dean Ambrose vs. Kane
Events leading to this match: One of the victim’s of The Shield was Kane’s brother, Undertaker. Last month, two other members of the group took ended the tag team title reign of Kae and Daniel Bryan. Kane was named the number one contender for the title when he beat Dean via disqualification during a recent edition of Monday Night RAW.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Champions Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton & Daniel Bryan
Events leading to this match: At WrestleMania XXIX, Randy Orton lost in six-man tag team action to The Shield. The following month at Extreme Rules, Daniel Bryan lost his share of the tag team championship to these two members of that group. Despite both challengers having a mutual hatred of the Shield, they are not on the same page with one another. This is a rematch from a non-title match which took place on SmackDown. Following the match, which the challengers won via disqualification, Randy Orton gave his partner an RKO because he accidentally dropkicked him during the match.

Pre-show Match: Sheamus vs. Damien Sandow
Events leading to this match: For the past few weeks, “The Intellectual Savior of the Masses” has tried to prove his mental superiority over Sheamus via a series of mental challenges. This match will be taking place 30 minutes prior to the start of the pay-per-view event and will be streamed for free on WWE.com.
